The food here is really good. Its nice to be surprised when you stumble into a hole in the wall. I really loved the jamica? Pardon me if I misspelled it. The staff is really friendly too.

This was our first time and will definitely not be our last! This is a small, family run restaurant found in a busy shopping mall. The food is all homemade with mami and papi working in the kitchen. We started with the Tenochips for an appetizer. At first glance the appetizer seemed rather small, but don't let the size fool you. It was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. It turned out to be the perfect size for two people to share. We had steak as our protein. Very delicious and flavorful! The chips are thicker than most places, and not greasy! The pico, steak, and beans very flavorful! My husband who is gluten free ordered Tacos with corn tortillas. Their tacos all come with onions and cilantro on top, typical for Mexico, which means the seasoning on the protein has to shine. He had an Al Pastor, chorizo, steak, and chicken taco. All of them were cooked to perfection. Nothing dry about the protein. The Al Pastor seasoning was very good. The chicken tacos were not grilled but made of moist shredded chicken... not dry at all. The chorizo taco has a hint of cinnamon which really surprised us in a good way. Very flavorful and not greasy in the slightest. Overall his favorite protein was the steak. Their prices are very reasonable. Portions are not large but just enough so you leave feeling satisfied. The staff we met are all part of the family. Very welcoming, friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have. Overall, I would describe this place as a little taste of Mexico! Definitely worth checking out.

I've come to this place several times. Their food is really good! So I'd definitely recommend it for their taste. But man have they gotten pricey. Only reason why I'm giving it a four star. The workers are nice and pleasant. It was pretty empty when we went, maybe like a table or two apart from my group. We ordered the nachos with carne asada on them. Those chips they make there are my favorite! They are so crispy and taste good. We also had the carne asada fries which I've never had before but they were delicious, portion is really big and the fries surprisingly were still crispy. Their carnitas tacos are usually my favorite to order but this time they were still good but the portion of meat was smaller than before and it wasn't juicy like I've had it before. The tacos I ordered is a combo so it also comes with a cheese quesadilla which is really good and cheesy. Along with a small portion of Mexican rice and refried beans. I remember this combo maybe being around $9-10 or so and now they're $15! My table also got their tostadas which are $5ish each with no protein ($2 more with) and I don't think it's worth the price. So if you don't mind paying for the food, it's pretty tasty. I just don't think some things are worth the price they have then at.

Good was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, tender, and well seasoned. Although I prefer the birria slightly spicier, it was delicious and there was a good portion of meat and cheese on there. The steak taco could've used a better quality steak but was yummy nonetheless. Service was great as well, it was empty when I came in but this place does deserve the hype as long as they keep doing what they doing with their quality and portion of food. The restaurant was very comforting and you can tell it's family owned

I was at my best friend's house and we were both craving some Mexican food. It's difficult to come across an authentic Mexican restaurant. This place far exceeded our expectations. It's a little quaint spot, very cozy ambience. We ordered chips and guacamole and it was delicious. Chips were crisp and fresh. The guacamole was fresh as well. My friend ordered fajitas (with no peppers, I know it's absurd) and I had the two Al pastor tacos and a quesadilla. Oh and of course an ice cold beer. Al pastor tacos were incredible. The service was a little slow but I think the server was new and still lacking training but I can't take stars off for that. We will definitely be coming back.

Ordered some tacos and a combo meal to-go and it was so yummy. The staff was very sweet over the phone and answered all our questions. The combo came with two tacos and a quesadilla along with some chips and pico de gallo. The combo was very filling and was enough to split between two people, granted we weren't starving. We also got an order of their guacamole and we're very impressed. The guac along with the pico were very fresh and the pit in the guac was a funny little touch. To drink I tried their pineapple agua fresca and it was deeeelicious! Overall, the meal was very filling and was made with quality ingredients. I will definitely return again. It's definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in Kendall!

One of the best family run Mexican restaurants I've been to in the area. Loved their tacos and the prices are absolutely reasonable, although they are slated to increase their prices soon! Come get some tacos while they are a steal. The al pastor was great, pollo was NOT, I repeat NOT dry, and the carne asada is probably one of the best I've had in Miami. This place is added to my list of hole in the wall places to bring friends and family when they want some great tacos. The only thing is that this is not a late night place like your typical taco food truck, so make sure you come or order take out earlier in the day. As a small family run restaurant, the decor and ambiance was just ok. The dim white office lighting made me feel some type of way. Could use a little updating, but then again... I think that would not make this a hole-in-the-wall type place anymore. Other than that, the service was warm and welcoming.
